BioCanon: Oracle is the information source for her superhero community. Oracle has supplied information for the Suicide Squad, the JLA, the Batfamily, and any other hero who requests her help. Currently, she leads a team of operatives known as the Birds of Prey.
Barbara Gordon was Batgirl until she was shot by the Joker. Confined to a wheelchair, she still chose to be a hero by becoming Oracle. She probably does more good as Oracle than she ever did as Batgirl, but she is too stubborn to admit to that.
Fanon: "I can't go around ruining everyone's lives. People would talk."
Oracle is also the largest SuperHero gossip. She runs SuperHeroWatch, which is basically the SuperHero version of ONTD. She has worked for both SHIELD and the X-Men, and is currently training a new team of Birds that includes Misfit and Valeria Richards. She's got a fairly vindictive streak, having once turned Green Arrow into a girl. She gets along fairly well with Slade Wilson, having come to the realization that sometimes killing is the better option.
